Sips, Sweets & Shopping is this Saturday!

The 80+ artisans and vendors of the Shoppes of Little Falls welcome you to our first event of the holiday season this Saturday, November 5.

Start your morning with some freshly brewed Haitian coffee – add a little Kahlua to it if you like! The volunteers from the Haiti Partnership will be serving from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.

From 9:00 -11:00 am, our friends from Little Falls Bakery and Deli will be sampling some of their holiday sweets including English Toffee, Peanut Brittle, Spritz Cookies, and Fruitcake.

Then from 12:30 – 3:00 pm, try a sample of Rum Creek Farm’s award winning maple syrup served on blueberry muffins from UpScale Dumpster Divas‘ Secret Garden muffin mix!

Finally, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, enjoy some wine and chocolates as you browse through our store. When we say Sips, Sweets & Shopping, we mean LOTS of sips, sweets, and shopping!

The luxury of Simple Elegance products make them a treat for yourself or the perfect gift for the holiday season. Jane Jorgenson, the artisan behind Simple Elegance, will be in the store during the Shoppes’ Sips, Sweets & Shopping. Be sure to talk about her about her new resin products. Need something special? The Shoppes is delighted to welcome one of our newest artisans, Krista Marshik, who handcrafts these magnificent flags made of wood. As a veteran herself, Krista puts her passion for our country and the military into every flag she makes. She creates her flags in two sizes: 36″x19″ and 18″x9″.

Krista will be at the Shoppes of Little Falls during our Sips, Sweets & Shopping event to discuss her process for making them and take custom orders. With her ability to customize with emblems from a specific branch of the service, one of Krista’s flags make a beautiful gift for any veteran, active duty military, or first responder on your list.

When you join us for Sips, Sweets & Shopping, you will have the opportunity to visit with Leisha Vance, the creative artist behind LMT Knits. She will have yarn samples with her so that you can choose custom colors for that special holiday gift to keep your loved one warm throughout the winter.
