Wreath Laying at MN State Veterans Cemetery

The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery – Little Falls will be hosting a public wreath laying event. A brief ceremony will be held near the cemetery’s flagpole assembly area at 11 a.m., with volunteers being released to individual burial sections following the ceremony. Guests are encouraged to wear appropriate cold weather clothing, arrive early, and to carpool, if possible. The annual wreath laying event consists of volunteers assisting with the placement of nearly 6,000 honors wreaths, which are placed on every headstone throughout the cemetery grounds. Wreaths for the Fallen, a  non-profit organization based out of Baxter, privately fundraises and donates the honor wreaths for the event. No registration is required, and all are welcome to participate.
