Who’s ready to celebrate our GRAND OPENING this weekend?!
Our celebration begins tonight at 6:00 pm with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and lighting of the marquee. Following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, The Falls will bring back the first movie ever shown at the theatre ninety years ago! The 1933 Film: The Nuisance. Tickets for The Nuisance are just .50 cents! Which is the same price printed on the vintage tickets found in The Falls during the restoration. A souvenir vintage ticket will be given to each patron attending the classic film.
Saturday the 7th we have our Blockbuster Party!
From 10 am – 2 pm, weather allowing, we will have chalk drawings out front where you can come and draw your favorite movie character as well as guess at some of the classics we will have drawn. Tours of the theatre will be leaving from the front of the theatre every half hour starting at 10am and run until 12:30. A video booth is planned so that community members may record memories of The Falls as well as their thoughts on its reopening. Concessions will open up at 11am for anyone wanting to stop by and get some popcorn to get the day going right!
Sunday the 8th
It wouldn’t be a grand opening without some free popcorn. So come on in to enjoy a movie this Sunday and receive a free small popcorn on us!
We are extremely excited to open to the community and see you all soon!
