St. Francis Community Chorale presents spring concert

St. Francis Community Chorale will present Put a Little Love in Your Heart, Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel on the campus of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls. The St. Francis Brass Ensemble and St. Francis Youth Choir will join the Chorale in this fun performance celebrating hope!

This concert will feature many well-known songs, including Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Joshua, Under the Boardwalk, Put a Little Love in Your Heart and a medley by Rodgers and Hammerstein. New songs will include Dream Keeper and Be the Change. The Youth Choir will sing the touching You Will Be Found.

The St. Francis Brass Ensemble will join the Chorale on several numbers. The ensemble will also perform the rousing Trust, Deter, Defend: March of the U.S. Naval Forces and Disney’s Aladdin and Basin Street Blues.

The St. Francis Community Chorale is directed by Barb Stumpf and accompanied by Vicki Spofford. The Chorale features singers from throughout central Minnesota.

The public is invited to attend this free concert and hear wonderful chorale music in a beautiful setting. The St. Francis Community Chorale and Youth Choirs are supported by a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.
