Poetry Reading and Book Signing with MN Poet Laureate

Enjoy meeting Joyce Sutphen, MN Poet Laureate (2011- 2021), a native of St. Joseph MN and Professor Emerita of Gustavus Adolphus College. Ms. Sutphen will be reading from her most recent collection “Carrying Water to the Field, New and Selected Poems”. Her reading will focus on the loss of small farms in rural Minnesota, and the conversation that follows will engage the audience by encouraging them to tell their own stories of loss, accommodation, and hope.
