One Earth One Home

The St. Francis Community Chorale will present its spring concert “One Earth One Home.” The St. Francis Brass Ensemble and St. Francis Youth Choir will join the Chorale in celebrating the beauty of our earth and all who live here!

This concert will feature various styles of music celebrating Mother Earth: Spirit of the Winding Water, River of Judea, Gently Walk on the Earth, We Are the World, Down to the River, Homeland, and Blue Skies. Also featured will be several uplifting selections, including Shout for Joy, O Happy Day, Crowded Table, and Do You Hear the People Sing.

The St. Francis Brass Ensemble will join the chorale on several numbers. The ensemble will also perform On a Hymnsong by Phillip Bliss, Fantasia on British Sea Songs, and an inspiring, haunting version of America the Beautiful.

The St. Francis Community Chorale is directed by Barb Stumpf and accompanied by Vicki Spofford. The Chorale features singers from throughout central Minnesota.

The public is invited to attend this free concert and hear wonderful chorale music in a beautiful setting. The St. Francis Community Chorale and Youth Choirs are sponsored by a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature.
