Backyard Bird Feeder

Join Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge for a free family fun event!

You are invited to build and take home a bird feeder and learn about different feeder styles, placement and seed selection.

Winter can be long and most animals are scarce through the coldest months. Bird feeders can attract some life to your own backyard and make it a regular stopping point for wildlife. Materials will be provided for you to build a bird feeder to put in your yard. Most likely, if you build it they will come.
