Minnesota Military Museum

Minnesota Military Museum One of Minnesota's most unusual history museums. Nowhere in Minnesota are the experiences of military men and women so vividly captured and interpreted for the public as at the Minnesota Military Museum.

Indoor and outdoor exhibits depict the stories and contributions of Minnesotans who served in all branches of service in time of peace and war, from Minnesota's early years, through the World Wars, leading up to current conflicts.

Minnesota Military MuseumThe mission of the Minnesota Military Museum is the educated the public on the service of Minnesota’s veterans, to preserve a record of their service through exhibits of the Minnesota Military Museum and preserve the artifacts related to their service for future generations.

Adults $5, children 6-16 $2 with a maximum admission per household of $12. Children under 6, museum members and currently serving military personnel are free. Group tours are available throughout the year by appointment.

The Sutler Store

The museum’s gift shop, the Sutler Store, offers military and Minnesota-themed books, souvenirs, gift, caps, posters, toys, and a diverse selection of military surplus clothing and equipment. Personalized, made-while-you-wait military “dog tags” are popular items with many museum visitors. Merchandise is available for all branches of service, including retiree and reserve personnel. Proceeds directly support museum operations.
