Children's Day |
| 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lindbergh Historic Site. Lindbergh Historic Site is a place where children (and adults) can dream. A young boy named Charles Lindbergh used to dream and play on this very farm 100 year ago. Whether young or old, come explore your "inner child" on Children's Day at Lindbergh Historic Site. Enjoy children's games and activities from the turn of the century, and see yourself what influenced Lindbergh's life and provided a vehicle for great accomplishments. Families will enjoy touring Lindbergh's boyhood home, sitting in the replica cockpit of the " Spirit of St. Louis" and experiencing hands-on exhibits in the visitors center. |

| Held at the Zoo located at 1200 West Broadway in Little Falls from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Creepy crawly critter encounters is a hand-on educational event that gets Zoo visitors up close to some of Pine Grove Zoo's most fascinating animals. Dutch Oven Cooking Demo |
| Held at 7:00 p.m. at Charles Lindbergh State Park. Interested in seeing how the pioneers baked their cakes and cobblers over an open fire? Visit Charles Lindbergh State Park in Little Falls on Saturday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m., where staff will demonstrate how to bake and cook with dutch ovens. Participants will learn how to choose the dutch oven that is right for them, and get tips on becoming a master of campfire cuisine. Treats prepared during the demonstration will be available to sample. There is no charge to attend the event, but any motor vehicle entering a state park must have an entrance permit, which can be purchased at the park office.
